Job Title: System Administrator
Department: Information Technology Department
Reports To: Information Technology Manager
SUMMARY
Manages the day-to-day operations of the data communications networks and local on-line network. Network planning and management are essential responsibilities. Plans and organizes local and remote network hardware and software installations. Organizes the operation of network service support and is network security administrator. Sources and negotiates with vendors in purchasing new hardware, new software, service contracts, computer supplies and outsourcing services. Manage and train Network Services Technician.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following but not limited to:
- Administering and managing day-to-day activities of the network, servers, communications wiring/ hardware and Desktop support.
- Manages, monitor and respond to user requests for assistance using help desk system.
- Perform system administrator tasks to ensure security; maintain network fire walls, routers, switches, and servers.
- Install service packs, new releases and new software in a manner that is consistent with high availability and secure end-user access.
- Install, configure and troubleshoot network and desktop operation systems and other system software and network hardware.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions of system network infrastructure, hardware and software. Provide solutions that provide for performance continuity and maximization, secure access and high availability.
- Responsible for system backups and recovery.
- Provides on-call support and problem resolutions for computer applications.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in IT or combination of education and experience will be considered.
EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of Windows Operating System/Networking Experience, solid understanding of networking protocols, Active Directory Services. Experience in Windows Server Technology, Windows Server Backup, Hyper-V, SharePoint Server, Microsoft Lync Server, Exchange Server, Print/ File server, Microsoft Cluster, SQL Server, Switches, Routers, Firewall, Wireless Networking, proficiency in MS Windows and MS Products, and Hardware experience

Multi-craft maintenance technician
Requirements: Mechanical and electrical skills
- Minimum of three years of industrial maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Some PLC knowledge preferred
- Strong knowledge in preventative maintenance
Duties include repairing and maintaining machinery and equipment, especially electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components.
Individual must be able to work any shift with overtime required as needed.
